On Saturday, Dec. 16th from 5:50-7:30 pm, please join Narrated Objects and Friends of Griffith Park for a magical night at Griffith Park’s historic merry-go-round to celebrate the holiday season and our debut publication, WE HEART P-22: A Coloring + Activity Book Celebrating L.A.’s Most Famous Mountain Lion.

Enjoy complimentary carousel rides, festive snacks (such as champurrado from the legendary Yuca’s Restaurants), and P-22-themed activities and crafts, including making bookmarks for patients of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Also take a photo with the famous traveling P-22 cutout courtesy of Save L.A. Cougars and P22 Mountain Lion of Hollywood.

Narrated Objects will have WE HEART P-22 books and special holiday packages for sale, and Friends of Griffith Park will have gifts for park lovers of all ages. Please dress warmly, bring a friend, and enjoy the evening with us!

ABOUT THE BOOK
(which is more than a coloring book)

Experience the real and imagined adventures of P-22: the lone mountain lion who defied the odds to live in Griffith Park: through artwork, stories, and activities by more than 50 artists and wildlife advocates. Follow him as he visits some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, learn about the importance of preserving urban wildlife, and celebrate the interdependence of our species along the way. A portion of the proceeds from We Heart P-22 will go to Friends of Griffith Park, which works to protect his habitat, and the park itself, for visitors of all species to enjoy.
